Annual Running Costs

You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of your holiday home, however for your peace of mind, all new lodges come with a 10-year Gold Shield manufacturers warranty and 40-year roof guarantee. Gas, electricity and water are metered and charged at cost. Charges will vary depend on your personal usage, please contact us for current rates. 

Site Fees & Insurance

Holiday home ownership is subject to annual sites fees.This is currently set at £5,940 per year, including VAT and rates. For the first 12 months your site fees are included. Insuring your holiday home is essential and annual proof of this will be required. Prices for this will vary depending to your prefered policy and coverage.

What do the site fees cover?

Our site fees include park maintenance, grounds maintenance, refuse collection, road maintenance, street lighting and use of facilities and common areas. Our team are also on-site all year round if you require any assistance. 

 

Hot Tub Installation and Running Costs

A private hot tub is a great addition to any holiday home and is sure to make you the envy of your friends! This will also significantly increase desirability if you are planning 
to let your holiday home. As a guide, installing a hot tub will cost in the region of £10,000, subject to chosen model. All Hot Tubs must be installed by Whitehill Country Park and in accordance with HSA regulations, when in use, daily checks are required on all hot tubs. Our on-site team will maintain your hot tub and perform these checks at annual cost of £1320, including VAT.

Letting Opportunities

We are able to offer a letting service which is a great way to offset the running costs of your holiday home. Lodges are suitable to be let for 11 months of the year (10th February- 9th January).  

If you choose to let your holiday home you will need to purchase a Letting Pack, which includes a standard inventory of cutlery, crockery, cookware etc. We also 
recommend removing or securely storing any personal items. A 32% charge will apply to each booking, which includes agency cleaning, key hand-over, welcome pack, use of park facilities and customer assistance.
