We would like to make you aware of a temporary road closure on our usual recommended access route that may affect your travel to and from the site.

South West Water will be carrying out essential maintenance works on Stoke Road, between the Yalberton Road and Long Road junctions, from 6 May to 8 May 2026. During this period, Stoke Road will be closed each day between 9:00am and 3:30pm.

During the clousre times, a signed diversion route will be in place which we strongly recommend following.

Navigation apps may suggest alternative routes through narrow local lanes that are not suitable for larger vehicles, and for those unfamiliar with the area, these could feel quite challenging to drive.

Diversion routes may be busier than usual, and local bus services could also be affected.

Detailed information about the exact route is not yet been published but we will endeavour to share any confirmed diversion details as soon as they are made available by the works contractor.

To help reduce potential delays and make your journey as smooth as possible, we recommend:

•  Motorhome and touring caravan departures take place before 9:00am
•  Arrivals or returns are planned after 3:30pm
