October Half Term Breaks

As the nights draw in and autumn settles over the South Devon countryside, there’s plenty of spooky family fun waiting at Whitehill this October Half Term. From magical potions and pumpkin carving to woodland adventures, campfire s’mores and Halloween entertainment, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Spells & S’mores

Wrap up warm and join Sophie for a magical Halloween adventure through the woods! Follow the winding woodland trail and hunt for the ingredients of a mysterious spell, collecting clues and treats along the way.Your adventure ends around the glowing campfire, where all will become clear… toast marshmallows, make your own s’mores and enjoy a tasty end to your Halloween adventure.

Wednesday 28 October Free for Whitehill guests – places are limited, so pre-booking is essential.

Fudge’s Lost Spell Book

Oh no! Fudge has lost his spell book and needs your help to put things right! Follow our free Halloween trail through the woods, hunting for clues and hidden letters along the way. Solve the magical phrase and head back to Reception to claim your spooky prize.

Available 23 October-1 November. Free for Whitehill guests. One prize per child, per stay.

Halloween Activities

There’s plenty to keep little monsters busy throughout half term. Get creative with Pumpkin Carving and Potion Making, hunt for sparkling treasures on our Gemstone Safari, mix something special at our Perfume Workshop, or settle down for some Pottery Painting.

Plus, get up close to some fascinating creatures with our ever-popular Animal Encounters.

Activities take place on selected days throughout half term. Charges and age restrictions may apply.

Halloween Pool Disco

Make a splash at our Halloween Pool Disco, with music, lights and plenty of spooky poolside fun.

Evening Entertainment

As darkness falls, the Halloween fun continues with family entertainment, live music, games and plenty of spooky surprises throughout half term.

Join Chris, Derry, Sophie and Savannah for ghoulish games, monstrous music, devilish dances and Halloween fun, including our Fancy Dress Competition. Whether you’ve been planning your costume for weeks or throwing something together at the last minute – if you’ve got it, haunt it!

On Halloween night, 31st October, the fun continues in the Hayloft Bar with live music and a Halloween party atmosphere. Come in fancy dress and we’ll treat you to a free Halloween shot!*

*Free shot for guests aged 18+ in fancy dress on 31st October only. ID may be required.
