Showcasing Devon’s finest ales, ciders and Gins our first ever Whitehill Country Park Beer Festival held on 20-22 October 2017 was a huge success.

With the help of our fantastic local breweries including, Dartmoor, Bays, Salcombe, South Hams, Powderkeg, Hunts and Yarde Farm we were able to offer a huge range of craft ales, local ciders and Gins for our guests to sample and vote for their overall winner. It was a close call, but we are delighted to announce that Dartmoor Brewery’s Jail Ale was the overall winner!

We also had some brilliant music from the Whitehill Team, plus local musicians including Torquay’s New Daze, Devonian singer/songwriter Holly Morwenna, Whitehill Legend Drew Millin and Olly Murs Tribute Mark Andrew Smith.

The Hayloft’s Kat and Dan from were cooking up a storm and the ‘Filthy Chips’ went down a treat!

After a weekend of family fun, including a Water Zorbing and a giant bouncy Bungee Run, the event came to a spectacular close on Sunday night with an outstanding firework display – designed by our very own Will, alongside the Fireworks Mine.

A huge thank you to everyone involved - cheers!
