Whitehill Country Park Beer Festival

Date: 20 to 22 Oct 2017

7pm Fireworks DisplayHead to the Hayloft Bar at Whitehill Country Park this October Half Term and sample a selection of Devon's finest ales, ciders and gins at our Beer Festival. This family friendly event will include children's crafts and activities, plus delicious food, live music and a spectacular Fireworks Display on Sunday night 22 October (Was on Saturday 21 but has been rescheduled due to weather!)

With a choice of ales from our local Dartmoor and Bays Brewery's, Ciders from our neighbours at Hunts Farm and a selection of our finest local gins, you can be sure to find your perfect Devon Tipple! If you can't decide where to start, why not try one of our Ale Tasting Flights? Keep track with our tasting cards, and vote for your favourites.

If you are feeling peckish, head to the BBQ or grab a delicious Pie in a Box or a portion of 'Dirty Chips'.

We'll have lots going on for the kids including a Bouncy Castle, Crafts, Create a Bear and Water Zorbing, plus Party Dances and games in the evening. We'll also be hosting a great line up of local musicians, including Folk/Pop Duo New Daze, Singer/Songwriter Holly Morwenna and Guitarist Drew Millan.

Friday 20th Beer Festival In the Hayloft Bar Starts at 5pm – 11pm

  • Food Available From 5pm – 10pm BBQ on the Hayloft Terrace plus ‘Dirty Chips’ (with pulled pork/cheese).
  • 5pm-7pm Shire Craft Room open
  • 7pm-8pm Children’s Hour - Children’s games and party dances in the Granary, followed by a disco
  • From 9pm LIVE MUSIC with the Whitehill Entertainment Team in the Hayloft Bar

 

Saturday 21st Hayloft Bar Open from 11am-11pm

  • 10-12pm Craft room open
  • Food Available From 12pm-10pm BBQ on the Terrace, plus Wrap stall.
  • ‘Pie in a Box with mushy peas’ in the evening.
  • 1pm-3pm Fun in the Granary - Bouncy Castle, Nerf Target Practice, Crafts, Glitter Tattoos, Hair Braiding.
  • 2pm-4pm LIVE MUSIC Folk/Pop Duo New Daze in the Hayloft
  • 3-4pm Water Zorbing (5-17-year olds only)
  • 5pm-7pm Shire Craft Room open
  • 7pm-8pm Children’s Hour - Children’s games and party dances in the Granary
  • From 9pm LIVE MUSIC Singer/Songwriter Holly Morwenna in the Hayloft
  • 9pm Disney Show in the Granary

 

Sunday 22nd Hayloft Bar Open from 11am-11pm
